Where and who do we give to?

We are going to spend the next number of weeks highlighting St Clair’s partnerships. It is because of the great generosity of our community that we have been able to financially support these groups of people, missions, and organizations, as they seek to do the Kingdom work assigned to them. 

TrueCity Hamilton

January 27, 2021

TrueCity is a network of congregations in Hamilton who’ve come together for the good of the city. Together these congregations seek to engage in mission beyond our individual communities to a collaborative Church-in-the-city level. By coming together, our communities find encouragement in our journey’s and strength in our abilities to serve our community.

As a partner church, St Clair serves within the TrueCity organization, joins together in prayer for and mission with other TrueCity churches and gives financially to the ongoing work of the TrueCity network. 

The annual TrueCity conference is coming up Feb 26-27th. This year we will gather online to connect as the church in the city who are Together in the Wilderness. It is a chance to connect and learn what other communities are up to and hear from some great speakers. Open Homes Hamilton

Open Homes Hamilton is a multi-church network supporting newly arrived refugee claimants by offering home-based hospitality. They work to connect newcomers with hosts for short term housing, and companions who provide practical and relational support to the refugee claimants who are staying in an Open Homes host home. St Clair became a partner church with Open Homes just this year and has committed to providing regular prayer for refugees, making ourselves available as hosts and companions where possible, and providing monthly financial support for those who work to make connections happen and make sure needs are met. 24-7 Prayer Canada

24-7 Prayer Canada helps churches and organizations across the country cultivate a deep and comprehensive culture of prayer, mission and justice that impacts their cities for the Gospel as part of the wider global 24-7 Prayer community. 24-7 Prayer acts as our relational and spiritual support network at St Clair. GOHOP

January 6, 2021

The Great Ontario House of Prayer seeks to be a support, resource, and prayer catalyst for the Church in Hamilton and beyond. GOHOP organizes and runs prayer events across the city and equips leaders and lay people in prayer and discipleship through a number of learning opportunities. GOHOP has walked alongside St Clair in prayer from our earliest days and we are proud to be a part of their Kingdom work through monthly financial support.
